Drummer Street is the main bus station in Cambridge and all the major bus and coach companies operate from there, or just down the road alongside Parkers Piece.

Free Shuttle Bus

Particularly useful for Tourists is the free shuttle bus that operates Monday to Saturday, every 15 minutes between 9am & 5pm from the following stops:

  • Market Square (nr Lion Yard Shopping Centre)
  • Corpus Christi College
  • Emmanuel Street
  • Fair Street (nr Grafton Shopping Centre)
  • Jesus Lane
  • Trinity Street
 
 

CitySightSeeing is a hop on, hop off tour service that operates around Cambridge.

Tours start from Silver street in the town centre and last for 1hr 20 mins. The Tours run all year round and cost from £5 for a child up to £10 for an adult.

Cambridge Park and Ride

Cambridge currently has 5 park & ride sites spread across the city.
If you've never used Park and Ride before the idea is that you park you car all day for free, & then pay a small fee for your journey by bus into the city.

Current charges are,
Day return £2 from any park & ride site into the city centre.

The Dayrider ticket costs £2.70 for cross-city travel on Park & Ride services & other Stagecoach city routes.

Citi Buses

Stagecoach operates a network of buses across Cambridge and there are different types of ticket available depending on where you want to go and what you want to see.

For quick & easy access to the city centre from the railway station look out for the Citi 1, or Citi 3.

This service currently costs £1/$2/€1.5.
